Our Mission - A Natural Approach to Your Child's Education
To provide the safest and most nurturing environment possible for children to grow and learn. To give parents peace of mind that their children will be happy and fulfilled in our care and that their food and surroundings are free from harmful chemicals. To employ a highly qualified teaching staff who are passionate about their commitment to the children and about maintaining a natural and wholesome environment.
We provide a safe environment protected from VOC's (volatile organic compounds), pesticides, herbicides, BPA, lead & mercury. These environmental factors have been shown to increase disabilities in young children. We protect children from these factors by providing natural, local & organic whole foods and by using recycled, natural & organic products.

We provide in-depth, hands-on, interactive curriculum based on respecting the world, its cultures, its habitats and its animals.

We have been Teaching Green since 2008!
NB is deemed Eco-Healthy by the Oregon Environmental Council
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm
Ages: 6 weeks-12 years
Location: Riverscape Properties, NW 16th & Riverscape St. (off of Front Ave.) in NW Downtown Portland, on the waterfront
About our location: We are located in a privately owned townhouse in a quiet neighborhood on the northwestern most end of the downtown waterfront. We have plenty of outside time on the private boardwalk, in the community yards and community gardens. NB is a mixed-age group setting.
